HOW IT WORKS

Five practices, every day.

Why these five? Because you were made for more, and Scripture isn't vague about where more is found. It's found close: in your relationships, your investments, your health, your work, and your heart and mind. A leader can be absent from all five and still look productive. Underneath them is one discipline: presence.

There's nothing to set up and no app to download. The same five run all month, each with a Faithful Minimum, the hard-day standard you never drop below. Every month a guest host adds his or her twist to one of the five, so no two months are the same. The whole challenge runs on email: every morning at 6:00 AM ET, one short email arrives with the day's practices and your circle's chains. One tap opens your check-in, where you mark each of the five, at the full practice or at the Faithful Minimum. Both count. Miss a day, and tomorrow's email invites you back. Never miss twice.

I seek God before I seek my phone.

Abide. One chapter, one verse journaled, prayed back. Before any screen.

Faithful Minimum: One verse and a 60-second prayer.

Jesus

I am fully here for my family.

Attend. One phone-away hour, named the night before. Phone in another room.

Faithful Minimum: 10 undistracted minutes.

Family

I take care of the body I've been given.

Move. 30 minutes of intentional movement, your call how.

Faithful Minimum: Your age in reps of any calisthenic (e.g. 52 years old, 52 pushups). Break them up however you like.

Health

I work on my calling and keep getting better at it.

Build. 30 protected minutes on your calling, not in it.

Faithful Minimum: Ten minutes on the one thing that matters most.

Calling

I hold what I've been given with an open hand.

Give. One act of generosity that costs you something: time, money, or preference.

Faithful Minimum: One note of gratitude or encouragement, sent.

The Faithful Minimum.

Every practice has a hard-day version. Full practice on good days, the Faithful Minimum on the days life swings hard. Both count. Both keep the chain alive. The floor is not failure, it's faithfulness.

Your circle

You don't run it alone.

On the 1st, we place you in a circle, a few other leaders (usually three of you) running the same month. No setup, no invites to manage.

You see their chain, they see yours, and nobody goes quiet without someone noticing.

The rule

Never miss twice.

One skip is a bad day. Two is a new habit. Nobody decides to go absent from his own life. He just misses, and then misses again. Your circle hears from us before you go quiet twice.

The chain doesn't break the moment you miss. It breaks the moment you decide not to come back.

The point

Who you become by coming back.

This isn't about the streak. It's about who you become by keeping it.

Behavior doesn't earn you a new identity. It's how the one you've been given takes hold, not the days you kept perfectly, but the ones you kept returning to. A month of coming back doesn't change whose you are or what He thinks about you. It teaches you to believe it.
